The Natural Talent Road Block

As a guitar teacher I see a lot of students that feel like they can't get started because they don't possess natural talent. Well do I have some good news for you. Natural talent doesn't really exist, some people simply just have a natural tendency to do the right thing.. What does this mean for you one might ask. Well the nice thing is with a some one on one lessons corrections can be made to your natural technique to put you right on par with someone who did the right things naturally. It's one of the reasons I think that it is very important to start taking lessons right off the bat so that you can avoid developing bad habits early on. This creates a proper foundation that will help you get your learning momentum going, The better foundation you have the faster you can learn and the faster you can have fun!
